To get the MOST out of this AB challenge, check in with yourself and do your best. ABS don’t just magically appear from doing some crunches. There are actually many factors that contribute to the making of strong ABS.
My intention is to provide you with the best workouts to help you carve out the leanest strongest ABS possible, but you have to do the work! So please, fully commit to this challenge, show up and be all in.
Here are some ways to be all in:
Mark your workouts in your calendar. If you’ve scheduled it in, there’s like 80% more of a chance you’ll complete it. So make it a priority and write it down.
Get yourself a few pieces of equipment and set up your workout area. (if you haven’t already). ie. a yoga mat, some hand weights (10-15-20 lbs), a sweatband. (lol, get ready to sweat!)
Commit to DRINKING MORE WATER. Not only do you want to stay hydrated, but water has basically a million benefits for your body… and ABS. So drink up! Get yourself a HIT HARD water bottle! (available soon on my site!)
Push past your comfort zone. Hey, there’s days when we can easily just go through the motions and not give it our all… but I’m going to challenge you to really up your workout game and push hard. Getting outside of your comfort zone is where the magical ABS happen.
Get enough sleep. Forget staying up late… especially if you’re training hard. Instead, listen to your body and get rest. Your body does all of its “work” at night while you’re sleeping. Plus, think of sleep as your way to recharge your battery and be able to go again the next day. If you want ABS… you NEED sleep.
I’m sure you’ve heard that ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN, right? Well, it’s true. If you want to push your ABS-results to the next- next level, then pay attention to what you’re eating. To start, simply cut out processed foods and sugar while doing this challenge and watch your results increase dramatically.
Set a goal. Not everyone wants a six-pack… or should I say, not everyone wants to do the work to get a six-pack, but that shouldn’t mean you don’t need to set goals. In fact, if you want to see results in the next 21 days, then you have to write down what you want to see & create. Having a way to measure these goals is crucial. It could be releasing X amount of pounds; or trimming down X inches on your waist; or it could be seeing your ABS pop in a picture; or it could simply be a feeling: Going from 1/10 to 7/10 is a huge win in my books! So write down where you are starting, and of course where you want to be in 21 days. Write this down and hang it somewhere you’ll see it every day!
Check in with your thinking. If you tend to talk down to yourself (or your ABS), then this is the perfect time to flip that and start showing your ABS some love. Your words have power, so choose them wisely. Be kind to yourself and celebrate your wins!
On that note: how will you celebrate once you win? Meaning, after you’ve completed the 21 days, and your ABS feel great, what will you do to celebrate? (I don’t recommend buying a cake or a case of beer LOL). But have something to look forward to! Decide that now.
Finally, have some fun! What’s the point of looking & feeling good in our ABS, if we are completely miserable? No time for that. Instead, let’s have some fun!
You ready?
